Ben Stuart, Managing Director (AU), CBL Markets

Ben has over 10 years’ experience in environmental markets, and is currently the Managing Director (AU) at CBL Markets, a leading spot exchange operator for environmental commodity markets.

Ben is responsible for the commercial strategy and development of CBL Markets, as well as leading the Client Development team. He has been integral to the design and functionality of the exchange platform, overseeing the development and implementation of major carbon spot products in the North American and Voluntary Carbon Markets, as well as major renewable spot products and water products in the Australian Market. Ben is currently overseeing the development of spot US REC products, following a partnership with APX.

Prior to CBL Markets, Ben was a Broker at Tullet Prebon in London for the EU ETS and the UK Power Markets trading both spot and future contracts.
